Thursday Night Open Thread

Guess what? CC Sabathia is a vegan now. A raw vegan, specifically. Lindsay Berra has the story. Sabathia says the goal is to “stay the same weight, but I want to be a lot stronger.” He’s been a raw vegan all offseason and he plans to continue the diet during the season, save for some barbecue whenever the Yankees make their trip to Kansas City. I foresee people freaking out the change in diet will lead to Sabathia pitching poorly on the mound because that’s what happened the last time he changed his diet, but that was before he reinvented himself as a cutter/finesse guy. Go CC. Enjoy being a vegan. More delicious meat for me.

Here is an open thread for the night. All the local hockey and basketball teams are playing except the Nets. That’s about it. Talk about those games, Sabathia being a raw vegan, or anything else here as long as it isn’t religion or politics.
